I love Japanese/Thai/Chinese/Indochinese/Indian cuisine or anything with lots of interesting flavours (and some added heat!)
So, as a treat for completing my 10K run I went to a local Japanese restaurant called 'Midori' located in Muswell Hill.
I love love love Japanese food, even though this place is local I have never ever been so it was time to try it, the menu had an amazing array of food which all sounded yummy!
So as I decided I ordered the miso soup to start (traditional of course) and one of my favorite dishes.
Then I decided to be brave and order the chilli squid dish and Damien (the person I was with) ordered the Ramen noodles, which was massive (unfortunately I didn't get a picture of that) but here is one of my dish:
And it did taste as good as it looked! it arrived on a sizzling hot plate and the taste was amazing, Damien liked the sauce so much he added my remaining sauce to his Ramen! The prices were so reasonable and for the 2 of us including drinks, 2 starters and 2 mains it only came to £23 which in my books is cheap!
I would definitley recommend this resturant to anyone looking for Japanese cuisine in North London, and the decor/service was lovely too!
5 stars!
Namaste!
