HELLO, HOLA, BONJOUR|WELCOME TO MY PERSONAL BLOG|ALWAYS BE YOURSELF|FOLLOW MY JOURNEY

Halloween 2014

Hey guys, Sorry it's been a while AGAIN, but I've been going through some stuff and some things which I will eventually talk about when I feel brave enough...

But for now I want to tell you about how fantastic my Halloween night was !
Halloween is one of my favorite nights and every year it disappoints me at the level of effort us British folk put into it, Americans make a big song and dance about it (about everything..!) and we seem to let it pass by us and look forward to Christmas instead, well not me! I love it.

Firstly to start the night I took my sister out trick or treating, she's only 11 so she's still at that age when trick or treating is cool, but to my disappointment not many people were willing to open their doors, such a shame for the children. I had helped her with her costume, and eventually she decided to be a vampire, I attempted to spray her hair black but unfortunately she has too much hair, so the colour didn't spread evenly, but she still looked nice and scary, also I kept getting mistaken for one of her friends which made me feel nice and young!

After that I went to my friends house and we had a couple of drinks before the night ahead...

I went as 'Alice in Madness' which is a character based on a video game, and I was astounded by the reactions I got:

This is me on the night:

I was fairly impressed with the results.
Scary right?

My friends didn't go all out like me, but they were still pretty freaky and continued to freak people out on the journey to the venue...

Creepy right?

I had booked these tickets weeks ago to an event called 'Voodoo Rocks' held at the metal works in Angel.

Now as you may have guessed from my dress sense and my blog..I like my Metal/Rock/Punk music and this place was set to be just up my street with 4 floors of alternative music including live bands, a bouncy castle, a ball pit, a BBQ, cage dancers and magicians... sounds amazing right ?

WELL IT WAS!

I have been meaning to go to this place for ages, and I wish I had been sooner, I first walked in to the smell of burgers cooking and straight away saw the most amazing sight of people being hooked through their backs and suspended in the air. wow.
Then as I wandered over to the  bar I met an abundance of friendly people who directed me to the ball pit, which was so much fun, and the bouncy castle which I didn't get to go on *Sad face* also all the other levels of metal and the alternative stage which is where the live bands were playing. I stayed to watch an all girl band called 'Hearts Under Fire' who dished out free CD's at the end of the night they were pretty god dam amazing, about time there was another all girl rock group! Then later on that night hed(pe) played, that all got a bit crazy.

I met a guy dressed as a hot dog and so many people asked to take my picture, I was very flattered as I actually had put some time and effort into my outfit this year and had ordered it all the way from China!

At the end of the night I saw a magician who taped his eyes shut and a lady dancing on a suspended hoop, again I was very impressed:

I didn't get back to my friends house until 6am, so I would call that a fucking good night!

I would do it again in a heart beat.

Now enjoy some more drunken pictures from me, I hope you're Halloween night was just as eventful as mine!

ENJOY!
